Hi my name is Meagan and I am the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Inclusive Milestones Child Development Centres Inc. (IMCDC) and a respected Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A).
I have worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for more than 10 years, and have dedicated my career to understanding how Autism impacts child development and learning. I am passionate about identifying the most effective ways to support the children I work with. As well as, being dedicated to providing quality care services to those who need it the most.
I am a Brock University alumni where I obtained my Degree in Applied Linguistics majoring in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. I am also a Georgian College alumni where I obtained a Graduate Certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant.
I pride myself in continuously learning and staying up to date in my field of work. With this dedication I pride myself in also being a Sensory Certified SLP-A as well as holding certification in Gestalt Language Processing.
Prior to establishing Inclusive Milestones, I was employed at other Autism Centres, TWO CAN TALK, The Town of Newmarket and the York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program (YRP-SLP). I have confidently developed and supervised centre-based, home-based and school-based programs for children 2-19 years old.
When I am not active in my community, I can be found at home in Barrie with my husband, our son Lincoln and our Black Lab Moose!
