Hello i am Abby, I amexcited to be part of the team at Inclusive Milestones, where my passion for working with children and supporting their unique needs can continue to grow. My journey began as a mentor with Family and Child Services in Guelph, where I worked closely with children and their families, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes. This early experience solidified my commitment to supporting children and ensuring they have the resources and encouragement they need to thrive. I hold an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a Minor in Family and Child Studies from the University of Guelph, where I developed a deep understanding of child development, family dynamics, and effective strategies for supporting children with diverse needs and abilities. As a supply Educational Assistant in my previous role, I had the opportunity to support children with learning needs in the classroom. I worked to create an environment where each child could feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. In the summer of 2024, I served as an Inclusion Support Facilitator with the Town of Bradford, where I worked 1:1 with children at camp, adapting activities and providing individualized support to ensure all children could participate and have a fun, fulfilling experience. I have also gained experience as an Inclusion Support Assistant with the City of Barrie, where I supported children in recreational programs. I am currently taking online courses through the University of Guelph's OpenEd program to pursue an Advanced Certificate in Couple and Family Therapy, which will deepen my knowledge and skills in supporting children and their development. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy spending time outside, playing with my dog, and watching movies
