<image:caption>Clinical Administrator Languages: English, Persian, Russian, Hindi Hello, I’m Tam I’m thrilled to step into the role of Clinical Adminstrator and bring my extensive experience to this position. With over a decade of management experience, I am dedicated to leading our team in providing exceptional care and support to children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I studied Business Management, Emergency Telecommunication, and Developmental Service Work, which has given me a strong foundation in both the strategic and operational aspects of my role. My most recent role, involved overseeing a clinic specializing in children with ASD. In this role, I was responsible for managing clinical operations, implementing effective programs, and ensuring that each child received tailored, high-quality care. I worked closely with our team to create individualized treatment plans and continuously monitor progress to achieve the best outcomes for our young clients. Before becoming a Clinical Director, I spent valuable years as a behavior therapist, providing 1:1 and group therapy to enhance social skills and overall development. I used a variety of proven methods, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Direct Instruction (DI), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and Incidental Teaching. These approaches allowed me to support children in a way that was both structured and adaptable to their unique needs. I am passionate about working with children and managing centers to ensure smooth, effective progress. I firmly believe that keeping parents informed and engaged is crucial, and I strive to provide regular updates and maintain open communication to ensure they are always happy with their child’s progress. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me staying active through workouts at the gym, swimming, or biking. These activities help me maintain a healthy balance and keep me energized. I’m excited to meet everyone.</image:caption>

I began working with children ages 1-12 back in January 2022 in early childhood education settings which then lead me to discover my passion for working with children with ASD. I also have a family member with ASD that has inspired me to work in this field as I have seen first hand what a difference inclusive environments can make. I am currently studying for my Early Childhood Education diploma at Fanshawe college, with plans to complete the ABS graduate program, as well as becoming a certified CDA. I am thrilled to be working alongside such educated individuals, with the same goals and passion for children with ASD. When I’m not focusing my time on my own personal learning, I enjoy spending time with my partner of 7 years and our pets!</image:caption>

I am excited to be part of the team at Inclusive Milestones, where I can continue to grow my passion for working with children and supporting their unique needs. My journey began as a mentor with Family and Child Services in Guelph, where I worked closely with children and their families, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes. This early experience reinforced my commitment to ensuring children have the resources and encouragement they need to thrive. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Family and Child Studies from the University of Guelph, where I developed a strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and effective strategies for supporting children with diverse needs and abilities. As a supply Educational Assistant, I had the opportunity to support children with learning needs in the classroom, fostering an environment where each child felt safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. In the summer of 2024, I worked as an Inclusion Support Facilitator with the Town of Bradford, providing one-on-one support for children at camp by adapting activities and ensuring all participants had a fun, fulfilling experience. Additionally, I gained experience as an Inclusion Support Assistant with the City of Barrie, supporting children in recreational programs. Currently, I am pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Couple and Family Therapy through the University of Guelph’s OpenEd program, further deepening my knowledge and skills in supporting children and their development. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy being outdoors, playing with my dog, and watching movies!</image:caption>
